The Painted Paddle

The Painted Paddle- a new outdoor public art exhibit will be on display all over Peterborough’s central entertainment and shopping district, to celebrate community connection during lockdown . During the month of February, locals will be able to safely tour the Painted Paddle art exhibit by visiting a number of storefront windows scattered throughout the downtown, as part of a new art crawl experience.

To participate in a self-guided tour of the Painted Paddle, community members can access a full map of paddle exhibit locations by visiting the Love For The Boro website online at: https://linktr.ee/LoveForTheBoro.

Mural Project

A grassroots collaboration of local artists are showing their Love for the Boro with a menagerie of window murals to help brighten the city’s urban centre. Community members are invited to bundle up to go on a mural hunt. To support more murals and more Love for the Boro activities visit their Go Fund Me page.

Love Letters for the Boro

Love for the Boro invites locals to write a love letter to  downtown Peterborough. The Love for the Boro will secretly distribute hand-crafted wooden love notes to a person, place, or thing on the writers behalf.  Residents and admirers alike are welcome to send a love letter by visiting Love For the Boro online.
