Garbage and recycling pickup schedule changes
The schedule for garbage and recycling pickup is changing in downtown Peterborough starting January 1.
• Garbage will be picked up on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
• Garbage can be placed at the curb after 5 pm and before 10 pm
• All empty containers must be removed by 8 am the following day.
• Recycling (blue box and cardboard) are to be placed at the curb on Tuesday nights after 5 pm
