Win This Space Top Five Finalists

Feb. 14, 2017 – We are down to five finalists for a free 12-month lease of a downtown storefront with Win This Space.

The judges narrowed it down from 41 applications to 10 finalists on Jan. 19. The top 10 finalists participated in three mandatory workshops: business plan, marketing and financial forecasting.

The 10 finalists made live presentations to the judges on Monday at the Greater Peterborough Innovation Cluster at the Venture North building at 270 George Street. The judges have now narrowed it down to five businesses competing for the grand prize.

“It has been an exciting journey with the top 10 finalists. The selecting committee had the opportunity to get to know our up and coming entrepreneurs, their unique personalities, and review some inspiring business ideas,” says Terry Guiel, Executive Director of Downtown Business Improvement Area.
